The North County One-Stop Clinic is a community based organization that provides an array of wellness and recovery based mental health and supportive services that are easily accessible and culturally competent. We coordinate services to reduce negative outcomes associated with severe and persistent mental illness. Our services are provided for children/youth 0 through 15 years of age, transitional age youth (TAY) 16 to 25 years of age, adults 26 through 59 years of age, and older adults with severe mental illness (SMI), residing in rural underserved areas North of Tulare County.

Services Available
The program will partner with community based organizations, public agencies, and learning institutions to develop the following Specialty Services in the targeted areas:

  • Individual, Family, and Group Therapy
  • Intensive Case Management
  • Medication Management
  • Supportive activities:
    • Life Skills groups (e.g. cooking, budgeting, stress management, time management, and accessing community resources)
  • Co-occurring Disorder Groups
  • Employment Training (e.g., networking, finding a job, resume building, role-playing, job etiquette, and volunteer opportunities)
  • Education Support (e.g., study groups, college tours, and presentations from educators)
  • Peer Mentoring (e.g., Wellness and Recovery Plan- WRAP)
  • Socialization (e.g., museum tours, and recreational activities)

Program Philosophy
The North County One Stop Program emphasizes wellness, recovery and resilience. Consumers and family members are provided with links to programs that will strengthen their ability to participate in their local communities while fostering positive experiences which will enhance problem-solving skills, optimism and hope. Services are individually tailored and provided with a whatever-it-takes approach to address the preferences and identified goals of each consumer.

Referrals may be made to the program and served per approval of the Tulare County Health & Human Services Agency.
