Golden State Federal Reentry Facility is funded by the Federal Bureau of Prisons, whose mission is to protect society by safely and securely supervising individuals in controlled and supportive environments, both within institutions and community‑based settings. In alignment with this mission, we provide structured guidance and services to individuals living onsite as well as those completing their reentry through home confinement. The Welcome Center is a low barrier shelter defined as there are no specific requirements in regard to income, sobriety, or mental health treatment/compliance. Partners and pets are welcome and a storage area is set aside for a predetermined amount of personal belongings.
