“I came from the streets before coming to Bridge Point. The staff helped me a lot. I had my ups and downs, but staff always followed up with me. I am grateful… and also for the hot breakfast. Now, I have my own income and a place of my own. People will succeed if they go through this entire process.” – Gilbert D.

  • From July 1, 2022 to March 23, 2023, 116 clients were served and all clients were referred to mainstream services during their initial intake/screening. Approximately 19 guests transitioned into permanent housing destinations.

  • We focus on assisting clients with obtaining their vital documents (ID, SS and Birth Certificate). Most clients do not possess all three documents during intake, but those are our initial referrals. We also assist with bus passes, as well as transportation in our company vehicle. Additionally, we refer clients to DSS/Social Security Administration for financial assistance (general relief, food stamps, SSI and/or job placement). Lastly, if client discloses experiencing issues surrounding mental health or substance abuse, resources and referrals are made to the appropriate agency. All clients who successfully move into housing are connected with appropriate services to their specific needs, before their departure from Bridge Point.
